Muscat, Oman: Majees CC trump IAS CT in the Premier Division League 2023-24 powered by Muscat Pharmacy LLC at the Oman Cricket Academy Turf 1 on Friday.
Majees CC posted a thumping total of 273 courtesy of Lakpriya Ravindra’s scintillating 98 and Zeeshan Maqsood’s salient 65. Ubaidullah injected his hitting prowess scoring 33 with two fours and three sixes. In response, Mohd Akeel top-scored with 52 but IAS crippled down to a paltry 114. Md Yousuf claimed a 5-fer and skipper Aamir Kaleem picked 2 wickets to seal the victory.

Yalla Shabab posted a mammoth total of 277 courtesy Khalid Kail’s magnificent century scoring 131 along with Sanju Sajeev’s 52. Shekh Adil Qureshi picked 3 wickets while Sivaraj Dheenadhayalu picked 3 wickets. In response, Powertech were down on 7 wickets for just 78 but Prabhakaran Kannan’s 64 supported by Sajeev T scoring 41 helped them stitch a 100-run partnership for the 8th wicket taking them to 215, falling short of the target by 62 runs.
