Muscat: A woman has been rescued by the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) after she fell from a mountain during a hiking trip in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.
Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority said: “The rescue and ambulance teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate responded to the accident of a woman falling and sustaining an injury while practicing mountain hiking in the village of Mibam, affiliated with Tiwi District.”
“She was provided with emergency medical care, and was transferred to Sur Hospital with moderate injuries,” CDAA added.
The Authority calls on everyone to exercise caution and take the necessary measures while practicing mountain hiking and adventure sports to avoid risks.
