CDAA rescues woman after mountain fall in South Al Sharqiyah

Muscat: A woman has been rescued by the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) after she fell from a mountain during a hiking trip in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority said: “The rescue and ambulance teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in South Al Sharqiyah ‬⁩Governorate responded to the accident of a woman falling and sustaining an injury while practicing mountain hiking in the village of Mibam, affiliated with ⁧‫Tiwi‬⁩ District.”

“She was provided with emergency medical care, and was transferred to ⁧‫Sur‬⁩ Hospital with moderate injuries,” CDAA added.

The Authority calls on everyone to exercise caution and take the necessary measures while practicing mountain hiking and adventure sports to avoid risks.
