Muscat : The visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik brought good news to the people of Musandam Governorate, in all economic and developmental aspects and service sectors, which will open many opportunities that will benefit all the people of the governorate. It will positively impact women in Musandam by supporting women’s economies in the governorate, which contributes to their reaching higher levels.
Regarding the auspicious visit of His Majesty the Sultan, speaking to the Oman News Agency, Maryam bint Ali Al Shehhi said:" The auspicious visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik to Musandam reflects positively on development in the governorate, which will contribute to increasing communication between the government and the local community."
Al Shehhi added that these projects will create golden opportunities for women in Musandam Governorate to be creative in the economic, social and cultural fields, thus achieving the goals of the “Oman Vision 2040".
Aisha bint Ahmed Al-Harfi, head of the Craft Industries Department in Musandam Governorate, said: "The economic development plans in the governorate include Omani women, supporting and empowering them in all ways, including financial, administrative and other aspects that will benefit them through developing female professionals, activating their products, promoting them and transferring them to foreign markets through various media, and activating the emerging technologies, including introducing artificial intelligence in the development of Omani women in various sectors, and pushing them towards entrepreneurship and building sustainable economies."
Dr. Khadija bint Sulaiman Al Shehhi, an employee at the Ministry of Information, also confirmed: "The woman in the Musandam Governorate did not care about the geographical distance and made her way with determination and strength of will, empowered and empowered thanks to the support and empowerment bestowed upon her by His Majesty the Sultan, to stand out with all confidence to the world that she had contributed and helped in building the Sultanate of Oman, and circumstances allowed her to participate - even if she was behind the high mountains in northern Oman and the Musandam seas. She was a doctor, teacher, engineer and media personality. She made her chance and seized her knowledge and work with an iron fist and did not disappoint the trust of the government and the Sultan of Oman in her."
