Fire breaks out on boat in Oman

Muscat: A fire broke out on a boat in Musandam on Monday, with Civil Defence on hand to get it under control.

The official Civil Defence Twitter account reported "firefighting teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Centre in the Musandam Governorate successfully doused a fire that broke out on a boat in Khasab Port."

The statement went on to read that the firefighting teams were able to ensure that the fire didn't spread, adding that no injuries were recorded as a result.
