Clarification on devices installed in Al Khuwair parking lots

Muscat: : The Muscat Municipality has issued a clarification regarding the devices that were installed in some public parking lots in Al Khuwair area in the Wilayat of Bausher.

The municipality said: “Muscat Municipality would like to clarify to the public that the devices that have been installed in some public parking lots in the Al Khuwair area in the Wilayat of Bausher are aimed at implementing smart systems related to the public parking service in order to improve the level of service provided.”

Noting that these devices are still in the experimental stage of installation, and it will not function until the experiment is complete, and its results will be clarified at a later time."

The municipality added: “We would also like to confirm that Muscat Municipality will not raise the service fees for public parking or violations.”
