Muscat: Nama Electricity Supply Company organised a forum on cost-reflective tariff (CRT) in relation to electricity services for major subscribers.
The event, attended by representatives from Nama Group companies, government and private agencies, Cost Reflective Tariff category stakeholders, and high electrical consumption project investors, aimed to shed light on critical developments in CRT and associated services.
The primary objectives of the forum included spotlighting key advancements in CRT, fostering partnerships for a sustainable economy, and ensuring stakeholders are well-informed about matters pertinent to subscriber satisfaction.
Key topics covered during the forum included the definition of the Cost Reflective Tariff concept, exploration of available options, and the advantages associated with each option. Nama Electricity Supply Company emphasised its commitment to providing best practices for customers to optimise electrical energy usage through suitable measures.
To empower customers in choosing the most fitting option for calculating monthly electricity consumption bills, the company unveiled an interactive simulation service for Cost Reflective Tariff options. This tool enables customers to align their choice with their electrical energy consumption patterns.
Salem Said Al Kamyani, CEO of Nama Electricity Supply Company, emphasized the forum's significance, underlining the company's dedication to engaging with valued customers.
