Minister of Interior meets with Governors

Muscat:  Sayyid Hamoud Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior met here today with the governors.

Al Busaidi lauded the efforts exerted by the governors during the last period in developing governorates and augmenting the performance of local administrations. He underscored the importance of pressing ahead with work in line with the vision of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik in regards to governorates.

The Minister of Interior emphasised the importance of listening to citizens and keeping in touch with their needs.

He also lauded the outcomes of the Municipal Councils Symposium and encouraged benefitting from those outcomes in a manner that service the action and roles of municipal councils.

Moreover, the meeting reviewed several topics within the agenda of the meeting and took appropriate decisions.
