Governor of Muscat to sponsor final of His Majesty the Sultan’s Hockey Cup

Muscat: On commission from His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik , His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, will sponsor the final match of His Majesty the Sultan’s Hockey Cup for the year 2023 tomorrow, Tuesday, at the hockey stadium at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher.

The Ahli Sidab and Sohar clubs qualified for the final match in the His Majesty the Sultan's Hockey Cup competition in its 53rd edition for the 2023 sports season, after Ahli Sidab defeated Salalah Club with a score of 2/1 in an exciting match between the two teams before the experience of Ahli Sidab decided the result in their favor. For its part, Sohar Club qualified for the final match after defeating Al-Nasr Club with a score of 4/5. The two matches were held on the hockey field at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher. The final match will be held the day after tomorrow, Tuesday.
