Free meals for underprivileged families in rural areas of Muscat

MUSCAT: In a resounding commitment to social responsibility, Protiviti Oman signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nidaa Al Khair, a local charity organisation, to launch a meal packaging and distribution initiative for underprivileged families in Oman.

The initiative, called 'I On Hunger', aims to distribute meals to families in need, with a particular focus on those residing in the rural areas of Muscat. The journey commences with a food packaging event, culminating in a landmark gathering on December 8, 2023, for door-to-door distribution.

Shatha Al Maskiry, Managing Director of Protiviti Oman, said: “We are honoured to stand shoulder to shoulder with Nidaa Al Khair in this noble endeavour to provide sustenance to those in need. Last year, we touched the lives of many families through our meal distribution efforts and goodie bags for children, and our aspiration is to surpass that milestone this year.”
