Rainfall forecast across some parts of Oman

Muscat: Some wilayats of North Al Sharqiyah and South Al Sharqiyah governorates witnessed scattered rainfall, causing some valleys and reefs to flood. Cumulus clouds flow on the coasts of the Sea of ​​Oman and Musandam Governorate, which may lead to scattered rains. Oman Meteorology said in its latest update today.

In general, the weather forecast for today is clear to partly cloudy skies over the northern governorates with isolated rain over North and South Al Sharqiyah and chances of isolated rain and occasional thundershowers associated with downdraft over Musandam, parts of Oman Sea and Al Hajar Mountains.

Oman Meteorology added: “Chance of low clouds or fog patches at late night to early morning over parts of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates with chance of cloud advection and isolated rain over Dhofar governorate.”
