Muscat: Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences has won the first place in the Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Award for Security Research competition.
Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Award for Security Research Authority announced that the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences, represented by the Center for Research and Studies, won first place in the Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Award for Security Research Competition for the year 2022.
This come for a research entitled “Artificial Intelligence and its Applications in the Security Field in the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries.”
The winning search has been announced in the introductory symposium for the Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Award - may God have mercy on him for security research in its eleventh edition on the sidelines of the fortieth meeting of the Interior Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
Lieutenant Colonel Hilal bin Mohammed Al Alawi from the Sultan Qaboos Academy of Police Sciences also won third place in the competition in the natural persons category for his research on artificial intelligence and its applications in the security field in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
