Muscat: Oman's Foreign Minister stressed with his United Kingdom(UK) counterpart the need to take practical and concrete measures to stop the war on Gaza.
His Excellency Sayyed Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign, with His Excellency James Cleverly, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development of the United Kingdom(UK), stressed in a phone call today the necessity of taking practical and tangible measures to stop the war on Gaza, and to focus on opening humanitarian corridors to confront the life catastrophe experienced by civilians in the Strip.
The two ministers exchanged views regarding the continued Israeli military escalation in the Gaza Strip and the fall of more civilian casualties. They stressed the necessity of respecting international law, ending the cycle of violence, and affirming the position of the international community in achieving comprehensive peace in accordance with the two-state solution.
His Excellency the Minister of Foreign expressed his condemnation of the Israeli occupation forces’ targeting of the Jabalia camp in the Gaza Strip, which led to the death and injury of hundreds of civilians, calling on the Security Council to put an immediate end to the crisis and the inhumane Israeli practices against the Palestinian people.
