Rainfall recorded across some parts of Oman

Muscat: The Wilayats of Rustaq and Al Awabi in the South Al Batinah Governorate witnessed on Sunday evening, rainfall that ranged between heavy and moderate.

In the Wilayat of Rustaq, rainfall was concentrated in central areas and the villages of Ayni, Al-Rummaniyah, Tawi Thani, Al-Ghashab, Al-Khalio, Al-Iraqi, Al-Sarh neighbourhood, and the villages of Wadi Al-Sahtan, Wadi Bani Hani, Niyabat Al-Huqain, Wadi Bani Ghafer, and Wadi Bani Awf.

In the Wilayat of Al-Awabi, rainfall was recorded over the villages of Wadi Bani Kharous, the villages of Al-Subaikha, Al-Subakha neighbourhood, Falaj Bani Khuzayr, Al-Sahel, Al-Wulaija, Al-Zahir, Tuwi Al-Sih, Al-Rami, and Al-Nahda neighbourhood.

The rainfall led to the flow of water in the valleys of Al-Tabaqa, Al-Khadra, Wadi Al-Sahtan, Safun, Al-Sahel, and Tahhab.
