Ministry of Information holds dinner for journalists and media professionals

Muscat: The Ministry of Information held a dinner on Saturday evening in honour of journalists and media professionals from brotherly and friendly countries participating in the election of members of the Shura Council for the tenth term.

Journalists and media professionals expressed their deep appreciation to the Ministry of Information for the facilities provided to them to perform their duties in covering the elections scheduled for Sunday. They expressed their admiration for the qualitative shift witnessed in the tenth period for electing members of the Shura Council in the Sultanate of Oman in the use and employment of the latest digital technologies.

The function was attended by Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Harrasi, Minister of Information, and a number of officials.
