Salalah: Salalah Port received on Wednesday a cruise ship carrying 2,610 passengers, including 1,976 tourists.
The programme for the passengers of the cruise ship coming from the Jordanian port of Aqaba and heading to Port Sultan Qaboos in the Muscat Governorate, included tours to the archaeological, tourist and historic landmarks for which the Dhofar Governorate is famous.
In addition, the tourists visited beaches and traditional markets in the city of Salalah.
It is worth noting that the Sultanate of Oman witnesses the visit of a number of cruise ships annually due to its distinguished maritime location overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea, and the Sea of Oman.
