Work underway to restore basic services in Dhofar

Salalah: The Basic Services Sector is working on restoring some services in some of the Wilayat in the Governorate of Dhofar which were affected by the tropical condition “Tej”.

Eng. Abdullah Mubarek Al Hashimi, Coordinator of the Basic Services Sector told Oman News Agency (ONA) that field response teams in the sector worked on restoring several affected services in Dhofar, such as reopening the Hadbeen-Hasik road in the Wilayat of Sadah after removing debris.

He added that electricity was restored in most areas in Dhofar, while work is still underway to restore electricity in some other areas in the governorate.
