Unlicensed use of Royal Emblem to attract legal action: MoCIIP

Muscat : Private institutions, commercial companies and social media accounts are not allowed to use the Royal Emblem on various commercial products without obtaining a licence from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP).

"Private institutions, commercial companies and social media accounts are strictly prohibited from using the Royal Emblem. A license can be obtained from the Ministry to use the country’s emblem, the country’s flag, and the map of the Sultanate of Oman on various commercial products," MoCIIP said in a statement.

The Ministry will take the necessary legal measures against violators.
