Al Mouj Golf welcomes top corporates to bring on their ‘A’ game at first-of-its-kind Oman Golf League

Muscat: Al Mouj Golf has teed-off the first of its kind Oman Golf League, welcoming enthusiasts and from businesses and leading corporates to a premier four-ball Stableford tournament on its signature 18-hole award-wining golf course.

Designed to blend corporate networking and sportsmanship, this unique event will see teams compete for the title of Oman Golf League Champion by February of next year.

Situated on the picturesque Muscat coastline, Al Mouj Golf is Oman’s golfing jewel. As a world top 100 oceanfront course, it offers an unmatched golfing experience and consistently ranks in the region’s top two, boasting international accolades for its challenging design and impeccable facilities.

Nasser bin Masoud Al Sheibani, CEO of Al Mouj Muscat, said, “The Oman Golf League will become a highlight in our annual calendar. Participation in the League includes some of Oman’s most prominent brands, such as Nama Water Services, Petroleum Development Oman, Asyad, Bank Nizwa, Omantel, and Europcar providing a unique platform for businesses to gain exposure and connect with like-minded sportsmen and professionals.

Al Mouj Golf was the country’s first links-style course which opened in 2012 and, set along 2km of coastline, offers a challenging and rewarding game for players of all standards.

It was the first in the Sultanate to achieve PGA status and has hosted the Oman Open (European Tour) Championship on three occasions, and it was the first in the region to host the Oman Stage of the Asian Tour, the pan-Asian competition supported by LIV Golf.
