Earthquake recorded in Oman

Muscat: An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 was monitored in Shalim and Halanyiat island on Thursday, October 12, 2023, said the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC).

The Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC) at Sultan Qaboos University said in a statement that an earthquake was recorded in Dhofar Governorate at 9.00 AM MCT, at a depth of 3 KM. The earthquake was recorded 154 kms South-West of Hayma.
