Alizz Islamic Bank recently hosted a delegation from Peking University as part of their mission to benefit from the Islamic Banking experience in the field of providing retail and corporate sharia-compliant banking solutions.
The delegation was received by senior officials of the Bank headed by the CEO, Mr. Ali Al Mani. The discussion included a comprehensive overview of the concepts of Islamic banking and the Shari’a-compliant products offered by the bank. In addition, it details the stages of developing Islamic banking products and services which is Shari’a-compliant.
Peking University, also known as Beijing University, is a national public research University in Beijing, China. Within this esteemed educational institute is the ‘Sultan Qaboos Chair in Arabic Studies’. The objective of the Chair includes the teaching and learning of the Arabic language and literature to Chinese students at Peking University, encouraging the research of the Arabic language, literature and culture, especially research on the Sultanate of Oman. It also encourages cultural exchanges between both countries.
On this occasion, Mr. Ali Al Mani CEO of Alizz Islamic Bank, said: “We were honoured to host the delegation from Peking University.
