Omani citizens safe in Bangkok, says embassy

Muscat: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Thailand confirmed that Omani citizens in Bangkok are fine after a shooting incident that occurred in one of the commercial centers in the capital on Tuesday, October 3,2023.

A statement issued online by the embassy said :"The embassy followed up on the shooting incident that occurred in a commercial center in the capital, Bangkok, yesterday evening, Tuesday, which resulted in the death of two victims and the injury of others before the perpetrator was later arrested. The embassy would like to confirm the safety of Omani citizens after communicating with the competent authorities."
