New Yorkers protest family separations at U.S. border

New Yorkers voiced their opposition toward the Trump administration's "zero tolerance policy" in a protest on Tuesday, June 19.
The policy has so far removed over 2,300 children from their parents since May.

The New York protest was small compared to the reportedly 1,000 people expected at a related protest in El Paso, Texas.

Nationwide protests against the family separations are planned for June 30.
