Oman participates in Amman International Book Fair 2023
The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, is taking part in Amman International Book Fair, which will be held in the Kingdom of Jordan during 21-30 September 2023. The participation comes within the framework of cultural exchange and cooperation between the two countries. It also aims to enhance cultural communication between Omani and Jordanian publishing houses.
Oman chairs GCC-British ministerial meeting in New York
The Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday chaired a joint ministerial meeting between the GCC foreign ministers and James Cleverly, British Foreign Secretary. The meeting was held within the context of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. At the meeting, Oman was represented by Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Chairman of the current session of the Gulf Ministerial Council. The meeting was attended by the GCC Secretary General.
