The Sultanate of Oman is participating in the Global Entrepreneurship Conference 2023 in Melbourne, Australia, which was launched today under the slogan “Change Your World” to exchange ideas and experiences among participating entrepreneurs from around the globe, and to learn about the latest innovations and trends in the world of entrepreneurship.
The Sultanate of Oman’s participation in the global conference comes through two start-up companies with the support of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, which is CureTech, which specialises in medical technologies, and iLab Marin, which specialises in transforming and developing marine sectors using innovative technologies.
The four-day conference is a global event and the largest gathering of male and female entrepreneurs in the world. It includes many specialised workshops in this field, hosting institutions supporting the entrepreneurship sector, policy makers, strategic experts, researchers, economists and more than 4,000 participants including entrepreneurs, owners of small and medium enterprises, and emerging companies from 200 countries around the world.
The conference will witness the participation of a number of owners of small and medium enterprises and emerging companies from the GCC countries in a unified pavilion for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. This will be the first participation of the GCC countries as a single economic block to enhance integration and based on their interest in developing the small and medium enterprises sector in the GCC countries.
