Police control brawl, arrest 10 members in North Al Batinah

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested 10 persons for involvement in a group quarrel, causing disturbance to public comfort and tranquility in the Wilayat of Sohar, North Al Batinah Governorate.

A statement issued online by Royal Oman Police (ROP), said :"The North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command arrests 10 people of Arab nationalities after a video clip was circulated showing their involvement in a group quarrel in a neighborhood in the Wilayat of Sohar, causing disturbance to public comfort and tranquility. The legal procedures are being completed against them. "

Six arrested for stealing wires in Muscat Governorate 

Six expatriates were arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), for stealing wires belonging to several companies in the Wilayat of Baushar, Muscat Governorate. 

"The General Department of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations arrested six expatriates of Asian nationality on charges of stealing wires belonging to several companies in the Wilayat of Baushar. The legal procedures are being completed against them," ROP said in a statement.
