Muscat: HH Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan returned back home after his visit to the Republic of India during which he headed the Sultanate of Oman’s delegation at the G20 Summit that was held in New Delhi.
Upon his return, HH Sayyid Asa’ad and his accompanying delegation were received by Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Harassi, Minister of Information, Salim Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, Dr. Mohammed Said Al Ma’amari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Amit Narang, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Sultanate of Oman and Saif Mohammed Al Abri, Secretary General at the Office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad.
HH Sayyid Asa’ad left India’s capital city New Delhi at an earlier time today. He was seen off by Kailash Choudhary, India’s Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Issa Saleh Al Shibani, Ambassador of Oman to India and several officials from the government of India.
Moreover, HH Sayyid Asa’ad was accompanied during the visit by an official delegation comprising Sayyid Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Issa Saleh Al Shaibani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of India, advisers at HH Sayyid Asa’ad’s Office and Pankaj Khimji, Advisor for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
