Medical emergency in Muscat-Chennai flight

Muscat: Indigo flight 6E1278 from Muscat to Chennai had a medical emergency just before the landing at Chennai airport in the early hours of Sunday.

The air crew announced that we have a medical emergency as one of the passengers has fallen sick. They also called help from any medical professional on board.

On landing, the captain asked everyone to remain in their seat for the medical emergency. Later, the passengers were asked to disembark from the front gate. After the arrival of the ambulance and the medical team, the sick passenger was evacuated from the rear gate and taken to the hospital.
