Muscat: Federal Transformers and Switchgears LLC (FTS) Oman, an integral division of the Smart Electrification and Automation Sector (SEA) of The Zubair Corporation announces the delivery of the first batch of ‘Made in Oman’ Packaged Sub Stations (PSS) to KAHRAAMA, the Qatari Establishment for Electricity and Water, Qatar as part of a two-year contract.
The leadership team of the Smart Electrification and Automation Sector signed the prestigious OMR 16 million contract in early 2023 for the manufacture, testing, and supply of PSS of various ratings by FTS Oman. The delivery marks a significant milestone within the project and highlights the company’s commitment to delivering high quality products and solutions as well as foster strong partnerships with customers within the Sultanate of Oman and in the region. FTS is the only approved supplier for PSS to KAHRAMAA and has developed unique solutions as well as obtained accreditation from KEMA, Netherlands after multiple type tests.

This contract will further FTS’s role in adding diversified economic value in line with Oman Vision 2040 as well as enhance employment and business opportunities that encourage national industrial sector participation.
