Incoming calls at Muscat Municipality's call center crosses 11,000

Muscat: More than 11,000 communications/reports were received by the call center in Muscat Municipality until June 30, 2023.

The call center witnessed an increase in the completion rate of communications in the first half of 2023, by 54% compared to 2022. The number of communications received during 2023 reached more than 11000 communications compared to 2022 in which it received approximately 10,700 reports.

The high achievement indicator in the rate of incoming communications to the center reflects the continuous municipal efforts in the areas of improvement and development in the municipal services sector, as well as the role of the call center, As one of the supporting arms of the municipality to speed response and dealing with reports in a timely and continuous manner.

Muscat Municipality call center formed a field team to work side by side with the service directorate in order to speed up the completion process and serve the public in record time. It also sought to develop the mechanism of work of the analysis and data team to follow up on reports on all communications submitted by the public, and to do the necessary analysis to support the process of completing the communications, in addition to providing the center with several workshops for service directorates to organise the process.
