Muscat: Indian School Muscat Principal, Dr Rajeev Kumar Chauhan has resigned from his post.
One of the largest co-educational institutions in the Gulf with over 9000 students, Indian School Muscat, started its journey in 1975 with 135 children.
In a farewell note, Dr Rajeev Kumar Chauhan said that he is preparing to embark on a new journey and will return to his hometown after serving more than 6.5 wonderful years in Oman. “I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you. The time I've spent here has been enriched by the relationships I've formed and the support I've received from friends and well-wishers like you. Your encouragement, camaraderie, and warm gestures have truly made my stay in Oman a memorable and rewarding experience.”
He also said, “Together, we've navigated challenges, celebrated achievements, and created a vibrant community that values education, growth, and togetherness. The memories we've shared will always hold a special place in my heart.
“As I transition to this new chapter, please know that the friendships we've forged will continue to be cherished. While the physical distance may separate us, the connections we've established will remain strong. I want to express my deepest appreciation for your kindness, support, and positivity which have enriched my time in Oman. As I return to my hometown, I carry with me the fond memories of our interactions and the knowledge that the bonds we've formed will endure,” he said.
Chauhan is a Postgraduate degree holder in Mathematics and Computer Science and PhD in Mathematics.
He joined as a Principal of ISM in 2017.
