British Embassy’s mentoring programme for Omani women continues to gain momentum

In early June, 46 phenomenal women came together in a spirit of shared learning and collective growth. These women represent the 23 mentor and mentee pairs participating in Phase 1 of the British Embassy’s ‘Tamkeen’ mentoring programme, launched on International Women’s Day in March 2023 amidst a gathering of key dignitaries and high-profile guests.

Working in collaboration with UK delivery partners Mowgli Mentoring, Tamkeen provides one-to-one mentoring between experienced women leaders and Omani women who are early in their career.
