Muscat: Today's Friday prayer sermon was about smoking and its harmful effects on one's overall health.

The Friday prayer sermon entitled 'Take Precautions From All Harms.’

The brief of the sermon read: "Allah has favoured humanity and honoured them with the highest form. He has made available to them the benefits of the heavens and the earth, and permitted for them all that is pure and good in their worldly life, in abundance and variety. So let them eat and drink from all that is nourishing, and let them not approach anything that is harmful, whether it is food or drink. "

It is upon a person to be cautious of what harms their health, such as smoking in all its forms, whether a cigarette or a hookah (sheesha), or what is known in our time as electronic smoking (vaping), or any harmful substance or narcotic.

The danger of smoking in all its forms has become evident to everyone. This habit leads them to numerous fatal illnesses and affects all of their body systems, causing various defects and diseases.

Smoking harms your health over time, so it's important for people to be aware of its hazards. Every smoker truly needs someone to guide them with care towards breaking this unhealthy habit they've grown accustomed to.
