Labour Law to improve vital stability between employers and workers, says OCCI Chairman

Faisal Abdullah Al Rowas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) valued the issuance of the Royal Decree No. 53/2023, which promulgates the Labour Law.

In a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA), Al Rowas said: “The Royal decree confirms the Royal interest of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to improve the business environment and achieve stability between employers and workers, in addition to furnishing a safe and healthy work environment that keeps abreast of economic developments and changes in the business sector, and regulating the Omani labour market in line with pillars of the Oman Vision 2040.”
