Here's what you should do to stay safe during the dust storm in Oman

Muscat: People venturing out today in Oman should cover their mouth and nose with a wet cloth to protect themselves from sand that could rise during the dust storm, Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has warned.

As parts of the Sultanate witnessed strong gusts of wind with dust being raised, PACA advised people to exercise caution and even stay indoors if they can.
According to the online statement of PACA, "The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has advised people to cover their mouths and noses with a wet cloth to protect themselves from sand. Drivers who experience gusting conditions should reduce their speed immediately and follow the weather bulletin.
“Stay indoors as much as possible during the storm,” PACA added.
