Workshops on promoting Oman's tourism potential begin in India

New Delhi: Deliberations of the first workshop on promoting the tourism potential of the Sultanate of Oman in the Indian tourism market began in the capital Delhi on Monday. The series of workshops are organized by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and will last till 31 July.

The workshops aim at highlighting the tourism potential of the Sultanate of Oman with its picturesque nature, in addition to promoting the attractive destinations and diverse experiences that make the Sultanate of Oman a unique destination.

They also aim at promoting a number of tourism patterns such as conference and exhibition tourism, in addition to shedding light on the latest developments in the Omani tourism sector.

The promotional workshops will be held in four major cities in the Republic of India that are a source of tourism traffic, namely Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
