Muscat: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, His Highness Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, has returned to the Sultanate of Oman after participating in the 18th consultative meeting of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, and the Gulf summit with Central Asian countries.
His Highness Sayyid Assad Bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and the Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, returns to the country, after heading the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman participating in the 18th consultative meeting of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, and the Gulf summit with Central Asian countries, which was held in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi Crown Prince said at the opening of the Gulf summit with Asian countries: "The summit embodies the long-standing ties with the countries of Central Asia, and the challenges that the world faces require uniting efforts," stressing the importance of the joint action plan between the Gulf countries and Central Asian countries.
The Kuwaiti Crown Prince indicated that the Summit of the Gulf States and Central Asia reflects the common desire to develop relations, expressing his hope that it will contribute to strengthening partnerships between the Gulf and Central Asia in all fields.
