Muscat: A number of joint cooperation programmes of employment-related training initiatives and the Employment Support Programme were signed at the Ministry of Labour on Tuesday. The programmes were inked by the Ministry of Defence, military and security units and the Ministry of Labour.
The programmes offer on-the-job training for Omani jobseekers and highlight the contribution of military and security units to the service of the country.
The programmes were signed by Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Za’abi, Secretary General at the Ministry of Defence, Dr. Mahad Said Ba’Owain, Minister of Labour, Maj. Gen Salim Ali Al Hosni, Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman, and Sheikh Nasr Amer Al Hosni, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour for Labour.
The programmes demonstrate the integration of national efforts, the ongoing partnership between military units and the Ministry of Labour and a keenness to offer Omani youth opportunities to contribute to domestic development.
