Muscat: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 was monitored in Southern Iran on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, said the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC).
The Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC) at Sultan Qaboos University said in a statement that an earthquake in the Southern Iran was recorded at 9.12 AM MCT, at a depth of 11 KM. The earthquake was recorded 195 KM away from Khasab.
