Deputy Prime Minister takes part in 29th Arab Summit

Dhahran: Syria, Yemen, Palestine and terrorism are among the issues on the agenda of the 29th Arab Summit that kicked off at King Abdulaziz Centre for World Culture on Sunday.
On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers chaired the Sultanate’s delegation to the Summit.
The 29th Arab Summit will discuss the items on the agenda including the report of the Secretary General, the Palestinian cause and the developments in the Arab-Israeli conflict, the development of the Arab League, the conditions in Syria, Libya and Yemen, combating terrorism, the joint Arab economic and social cooperation, holding of Arab cultural summit and the date of 30 Arab Summit among other issues.
On the conclusion of the Summit, Sayyid Fahd sent a cable of thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and senior officials expressing his delight and that of his delegation for participation in the Summit.
