Muscat: Some parts of the Sultanate are expected to receive rainfall today, even with clear skies predicted over most of the country today.
Temperatures will range from 35 degrees in Muscat to 38 in Sohar, according to the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA). "The highest temperature in Muscat is expected to reach 35 degrees Celsius while the lowest would be 26 degrees Celsius, while temperatures in Sohar, Sur and Nizwa will reach a high of 38, 37 and 36 degrees Celsius respectively," PACA said.
Salalah, Saiq, Ibra, Rustaq, and Nizwa may all experience rainfall, as "low-level clouds or fog is expected in South Al Sharqiyah, Dhofar, Al Wusta, and along parts of Oman’s coastal areas".
Sea winds are predicted to be light during the day and night in coastal areas along the Sea of Oman, while wind in areas along the Arabian Sea will be light to moderate. However, PACA warned about poor visibility levels during thundershowers.
