Police arrest expat on child molestation charges in Muscat

Muscat: Police in the capital area have arrested one expat for allegedly molesting a child, Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced in a statement on Sunday.

Officials also said that a charge of "resisting arrest" was slapped on the suspect. The statement from ROP said, "Azaiba police station managed to arrest an Asian national on charges of molesting a minor and resisting police officers."
Last month, another expat had been arrested for sexually assaulting a child in a mall in Buraimi.
