Rescue authority plugs hazardous gas leak in Muscat governorate

Muscat: The Operation Centre at the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance received a notification about ammonia gas leakage from one of the companies operating in Al Rusayl Industrial Estate.
The hazardous materials team, supported by the Civil Defence and Ambulance Centres in the Governorate of Muscat, rushed to the scene and managed to control the leakage and prevent spread to the nearby area.
The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance urged owners of companies that handle hazardous materials to comply with safety requirements to ensure their safety and security of the society.
