Indian school in Oman confirms 10th, 12th board exam retest

Muscat: Indian School Al Ghubra in the Sultanate's capital has confirmed that retests for two board exam subjects for Class 10 and 12 students will take place.
The news comes after India's Central Board of Secondary Education had earlier issued a circular stating that schools need to conduct the retest, since question papers for the 10th grade Mathematics and 12th grade Economics papers had been leaked in India.
"As many of you must already know by now, CBSE has announced that it will reconduct the Board examination in the following subjects: Class 10 – Mathematics; Class 12 – Economics," a circular from the Principal of Indian School Al Ghubra stated, adding, "Kindly go through the CBSE website in the coming week. We will keep you posted about the details as and when we receive the same."
The circular from the CBSE earlier today had also said that dates for the retest would be announced next week.
