More than 44,000 tourists visited Al Jabal Al Akhdar in the last four months

Muscat: The number of visitors to the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate during the past four months of 2023 has reached 44,678 visitors, according to statistics issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information.

The number of Omani citizens who visited the wilayat of Jabal Al-Akhdar reached 8581, the number of Saudi tourists reached 1144, the number of Kuwaiti visitors reached 414, the number of Emirati visitors reached 240, the number of Bahraini visitors reached 161, and the number of Qatari visitors reached 175.

Statistics issued by the center indicated that the number of tourists from other Arab nationalities were 1,460, while the number of visitors from foreign nationalities reached 32,503.

The Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Sultanate of Oman during the summer because of its mild climate and the availability of hotel facilities.
