Muscat: Oman's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement condemning Saturday's bomb attack in Egypt that killed two people.
"The Sultanate strongly condemns the explosion that occurred on Al Muaskar Al Romani in Alexandria," MoFA said online.
The statement affirmed "the Sultanate's solidarity with the Arab Republic of Egypt in combating violence and terrorism, expressing sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to the Egyptian people with wishes for swift recovery."
A bomb placed under a car exploded in Egypt's second city Alexandria on Saturday, killing two people including a policeman, according to Reuters.
