Two houses go up in flames in Oman

Muscat: Two houses in Amerat and Dhofar went up in flames, announced the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA).
In the first case, one person was seriously injured, however there were no injuries in the second incident.
According to PACDA, the first fire was caused due to a gas leak in a house in Amerat. Authorities said, “Civil Defence and Ambulance in Muscat dealt with a fire caused by a gas leak in a kitchen in a house in Amerat, the fire resulted in the serious injury of one person who was sent by the authority’s ambulance to a hospital for treatment.”
The second incident took place at 3.40 am in a house in Dhofar. PACDA said, “Firefighters at the civil defence and ambulance in Dhofar managed to extinguish a fire in a house in Salalah at 3:40 am, without recording any injuries.”
