Farms raided in Sur for presence of pesticides in these crops

Muscat: The laboratory report confirmed the presence of high percentages of pesticide residues in the sample crops of green onions and parsley taken from certain farms in the Wilayat of Sur.

The Directorate of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources in Al Sharqiyah South Governorate said in a statement: “Based on the laboratory tests that were conducted in the central laboratory of the Ministry, the specialists of the General Directorate of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources in Al Sharqiyah South Governorate, with the support and support of the Tire Police Department and the task unit in the governorate, conducted a raid campaign on these farms, and the reservation was made on the aforementioned crops, in preparation for their destruction, in addition to taking legal measures with the farm workers.”
