6 rescued from wadi stream in South Al Sharqiyah, search underway for 3 missing

Muscat: Six people were rescued from a wadi stream in the south of Al Sharqiyah. In addition, a search is ongoing for three more people, the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) announced.

The CDAA said in a statement: “The Department of Civil Defense and Ambulance in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate received a report about the drifting of 3 vehicles with 9 people, in the stream of Wadi Al-Batha in Wilayat Jalan Bani Bu Ali. 6 people were rescued, and the search for the remaining 3 is underway.”

Rescue teams at the Governorate administration are conducting searches for the three missing, CDAA added.
