Video: Car swept away as wadis overflow in Oman

Muscat: A number of places in the Sultanate saw heavy rainfall on Thursday, with wadis overflowing in Nakhal and Al Awabi.
Dramatic footage and photos shared by weather monitoring portal Rathth Weather showed Wadi Al Mahalil beginning to flow, with citizens running to escape the oncoming flood.
One video also showed a car being swept away, as a citizen tried to drive away from the wadi.
