Video: SalamAir CEO to pilot inaugural flight to Iran

Muscat: SalamAir, Oman's first budget airline, is launching its first flight to Shiraz in Iran today.
The weekly flights are set to take-off every Sunday and Wednesday at 12:50 from Muscat, arriving in Shiraz at 13:50. The return flights will depart from Shiraz at 14:55 arriving in Muscat at 16:40.

Speaking to Times of Oman ahead of the inaugural flight, Captain Mohamed Ahmed, CEO of Salamair said that he is excited to be flying the first flight to Shiraz himself.
"It's very exciting to be flying to such a great destination, Shiraz. It is a great addition to our already existing destinations. In fact, Shiraz has been added after receiving a lot of requests.
"The airline is also planning to expand routes to other countries in future."
